Training for Creativity and Innovation by Product and Process Design

BACKGROUND

In today's high complexity world, everything is measured by efficiency and profitability. Division of labour and specialization of skills are always employed as essential keys for further prosperity.

Contemporary modes of education have also been evolved to meet this demand and equip students with high competence ready for coming challenges. High level specialization facilitates in-depth knowledge acquisitions and innovative breakthroughs. However, careful planning is crucial to avoid fragmentation and alienation resulting from specialization.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University always emphasizes maintaining the quality of holistic education. Industrial Centre, in this project, focuses on further improving the integration among her well known sophisticated training modules to attain specialization with comprehensiveness.
